94 point Robert Parker:
The 2012s show beautifully, and while I’ve had these wines numerous times, this was the best showing to date. The 2012 Chateauneuf du Pape les Hautes Brusquières Cuvee Spéciale is full-bodied, textured and downright sexy, with tons of cassis, black raspberry, garrigue and licorice aromas and flavors. I love its purity of fruit, and it’s impeccably balanced. 94 Point
I continue to rave about these wines from the Maret family, and both these 2012s and 2013 are worth seeking out. I was especially impressed with their 2013s, as they have more concentration and higher quality tannins than most in the vintage. I’m sure these will drink nicely on release, but they should also evolve gracefully.
